Armed Robbery At Port St. John Publix


PORT ST. JOHN, Florida -- The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at approximately 3:48 pm, on June 27, 2012, at the Publix Pharmacy located at 7325 North US Highway 1, Port St. John, Florida.



The suspect walked to pharmacy counter and presented a handwritten note indicating he had a gun and wanted prescription medication.  The suspect then lifted his shirt exposing a small handgun.  The pharmacy technician explained he did not have a key to access the prescription medication and the suspect fled the store without incident or injury to any persons.


The suspect is described as a white male, 5’09”, medium build, with brown hair, and brown eyes. The suspect was wearing blue jeans pants, a blue sweat shirt, a light blue baseball hat, and tan work boots.  It is unknown if the suspect fled the area on foot or in a vehicle.
