The “Hands Off Our Oil” spectacle can always be counted on to showcase the hypocrisy of the left and its silly “green” environmentalists. Last year there were no horse-drawn buggies or rickshaws in the beach parking lots where the players gathered to hold hands and oppose domestic oil production – only SUV's and Tony Sasso's big red truck that gets 12 MPG. True to form, Sasso will again be playing the lead role when the melodrama occupies the beach this year.

With gasoline prices two-thirds higher than they were a mere 3 1/2 years ago, is it too much to ask Sasso what product he proposes as an alternative to fuel his truck, if not domestic hydrocarbons? Or, does he only wish to burn foreign oil?
