MELBOURNE, Florida -- Brevard Zoo's annual spooky spectacular, "Boo at the Zoo" presented by
Bright House Networks, starts Friday, October 12, 2012.
Boo at the Zoo runs
for nine nights in 2012: Friday-Sunday, October 12-14; 19-21; and
26-28 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. nightly. Last admission is 8 p.m.
General Admission prices:
$12 all Saturdays - Oct. 13, 20, 27
$8 Friday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 14
$10 Fridays and Sundays - Oct. 19, 21, 26 and 28
Children under 2 are FREE.
Avoid long lines - advance tickets are now
only available online. Purchase two or more tickets and receive a
discount, online only! Tickets will be available for purchase on-site
only during Boo at the Zoo nights. Admission price is all-inclusive.
Zoola Entertainment is back again featuring live acts on stage in front
of Paws On. The younger kids can enjoy a special play area, Ooz
Draverb, with crafts and games in the Nyami Nyami River Lodge.
Brand new
this year is a special exhibit, Professor Wormwood’s Poison Garden,
sponsored by Rockledge Gardens.
The exhibit will be open nightly during
Boo at the Zoo and select daytime hours in October for tours.
The
Haunted Trail, presented by MAS Karate and Dance, is not for the faint
of heart and recommended for children 10 and older. The Zoo’s family
fun, fall event also features a costume contest, Boo Choo train ride,
witch’s lair, and trick-or-treating at more than 25 treat stations each
night sponsored by local businesses and organizations.
Parking is
available on-site for all of Boo at the Zoo.
Space is still available for local businesses to host a treat station.
