Man Shot and Killed In Palm Bay

PALM BAY, Florida -- Palm Bay Police detectives and patrol officers are currently investigating a shooting incident that ended with the death of a man in his twenties. 


Just after 7 p.m. Sunday, emergency dispatchers received multiple 911 calls from witnesses reporting a shooting in the area of Florida Avenue and Washington Street in the city's northeast side.  


When officers arrived, they located a male victim who was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.  Homicide detectives and crime scene technicians are at the scene securing evidence and witness testimony.  The name of the victim is being withheld at this time due to an active investigation.

Callers can remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $5,000 in this case.
