1 Winner In Last Night's $320 Million Powerball Drawing

One lucky person in New Jersey won Saturday night's (March 23, 2013) POWERBALL jackpot estimated at $320 million ($198.3 million cash value).

On Saturday, there was one power play winner from Iowa who matched 5 of 5 numbers for $2 million.  There were winners from 11 states who matched 5 of 5 numbers to win $1 million.  Those winners were from Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia.
 
The overall odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510.  



 
Powerball Payout Options
POWERBALL jackpot prizes are paid in 30 annual installments of the estimated $320 million or as a one-time, lump-sum payment of an estimated $198.3 million cash payout. 


Jackpot prizes must be claimed within the first 60 days after the winning draw to receive the cash option of $198.3 million. 


Winners have 180 days from the applicable drawing to claim their prize.
