PALM BAY, Florida -- The City of Palm Bay will celebrate Arbor Day on Saturday, April 20 at Turkey Creek Sanctuary from 8 am until 12 pm. The park is located at 1518 Port Malabar Blvd NE next to the Palm Bay Community Center.
The Parks & Recreation Department will host a booth with information on trees and have handouts including live tree plugs.
Visitors can also take part in geocaching with the ‘Cache In – Trash Out’ activity to help eliminate trash in parks and Keep Brevard Beautiful has scheduled a Trash Bash for the area surrounding the park. The City of Palm Bay is designated a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
