MELBOURNE, Florida -- The Melbourne Police Department is seeking assistance in
locating a missing and endangered adult.
UPDATE: The Melbourne Police Department located Mr. Ford within the city limits of Melbourne. He was found safe and returned to his family.
Charles Patrick Ford, Sr., 90, was last seen at on April 17th
at 9:30 p.m. near his home in the Tropical Haven retirement community located near
the Melbourne Airport. Ford is considered endangered due to a current medical
condition.
Ford may be driving a green, 1995 Chrysler Town and Country
minivan bearing Florida tag X071HW. The van has numerous bumper stickers on it
to include a sheriff’s office star.
Ford is described as being a white male,
5’06”, approximately 150 lbs, bald with some grey hair, light colored eyes, and
prescription glasses.
Ford may be wearing dark blue pants, a white short sleeve
shirt with black and blue vertical stripes, dark colored ball cap, and tan
shoes.
