MELBOURNE, Florida -- Melbourne Police detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances
surrounding the death of a man who drove a vehicle into “That Little Restaurant” located at 1749 North Wickham Road in Melbourne just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
When officers checked the driver of the white Dodge Ram truck, 49-year-old Jeffrey King, they
discovered he had a single gunshot wound to the head. A firearm was discovered at the scene.
At this time, detectives believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. The case remains under
investigation.
