Brevard County Quick Release Day For Outstanding Warrants
VIERA, Florida -- On Saturday March 29, 2014, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, the Brevard
County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Warrant Reduction day. The
program will occur at the Moore Justice Center located at 2825 Judge Fran Jamieson
Way in Viera, Florida.
This one day event is an opportunity for people
with an outstanding Brevard County warrant, misdemeanor or felony, to
voluntarily surrender, post bond and be quickly released without
incarceration, BCSO said in a release. The program is designed to reduce the number of outstanding Brevard County arrest warrants while avoiding County Jail services.
This opportunity is being coordinated by the Brevard County Sheriff’s
Office with the support of the State Attorney’s Office and the
Department of Corrections Office of Probation. Personnel from each of
the agencies will be on location along with Brevard County Bail Bonding
businesses to ensure that all processing is completed as efficiently as
possible.
In order to be processed and released, the wanted individual must present a cashier’s check, money order, surety bond or cash in the amount of the warrant bond. The cashier’s check or money order must be payable to the Brevard County Clerk of Court or left blank where on-scene staff can assure that all bonding documents are properly completed.
For information regarding this program, please contact the Brevard County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit at 321-264-5333.
