COCOA, Florida -- The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with a shooting that occurred yesterday in the 300 block of A Lane in Cocoa, Florida.

At approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a 911 emergency call advising that a victim was shot.  Once on scene, it was determined that the victim was 12-years-old and had been shot in the leg during the incident.  The victim was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Florida in stable condition with what are being reported as non-life threatening injuries.
