MELBOURNE, FLORIDA -- The National Weather Service in Melbourne advises that dense patchy fog will continue through the morning across east Central Florida. In particular, fog is especially occurring from Osceola County and Brevard County northward.
The areas of fog and stratus stretch across portions of western Lake County, western Osceola County, Okeechobee County and portions of the Treasure Coast eastward toward metro Orlando, Volusia County, and Brevard County.
Drivers should be alert for rapidly changing visibility along the roadways this morning as the fog can reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less. Use low beam headlights.
