Brevard County Woman Killed In Orange County Crash
CHRISTMAS, Florida - A Brevard County woman has died as a result of injuries that she sustained in a crash which occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday near the intersection of Colonial Drive (State Road 50) and St. Nicholas Avenue in Christmas, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Tracy Blakeman of Titusville, Florida was driving a 2002 Pontiac westbound on Colonial Drive.
For an unknown reason, the Pontiace drifted off to the right and the vehicle's front, left struck a guardrail.
Blakeman was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida where she was later pronounced deceased.
According to the FHP report, alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Blakeman was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
