Gov. Rick Scott Admits To Catching And Cooking Over Legal Limit Redfish - Then Back Tracks
In a CNBC interview this morning, Gov. Rick Scott was explaining how great the fishing is in Florida, then went on to say that he had just caught a 40 inch redfish along with several others and cooked them last night.
CNBC's Steve Liesman, who has experience fishing in Florida, quickly went on to say to the Governor that the limit for redfish was only 27 inches.
Gov. Scott then back tracked on his statement, saying that they only cooked the ones that were under 27 inches.
Later in the interview, Steve Liesman went on to say that he just wants to make it clear that the Governor is not breaking the fishing laws down there.
