Victim Dies, Reward Increased In Palm Bay Shooting
PALM BAY, Florida -- Palm Bay Detectives with the Major Case Unit continue to investigate a shooting that occurred Friday morning in which the victim, 28-year-old Kendell "Kenny" Terrell, was pronounced dead on Tuesday evening while hospitalized. The reward in this case has now been increased from $1,000 to $5,000.
On Friday at approximately 10:45 a.m., emergency
dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from a woman who stated she heard what
sounded like a gunshot and glass breaking. The woman told dispatchers
that she was home with her boyfriend and was afraid of what happened.
Palm Bay Police Officers responded to the location in the 300 block of Alamo Street. When
officers arrived, they found the male victim with a gunshot wound and he
was immediately airlifted to the hospital where he is in critical
condition.
