Cocoa Man Shot, Dies

COCOA, Florida -- On Friday evening at approximately 4:30 p.m., a man entered the emergency room at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida with a gunshot would to his abdomen.  

Rockledge police were called to the hospital where it was determined that the man was possibly shot in Cocoa, Florida.  Cocoa Police Investigators then arrived at the hospital to speak with the man identified as 31-year-old Tino N. Bito.  

However, police say that Bito would not cooperate with the police investigation.  Police responded back to his home located on 127 Circle Drive in Cocoa and found evidence that the shooting may have occurred there.  

Bito was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida shortly after arriving at Wuesthoff.  However, Bito succumbed to the injuries he sustained and was pronounced dead at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Friday at Holmes.   

Cocoa Police Investigators continued to examine the scene Bito's house through Saturday.  But police say that investigators have little to go on.
