TITUSVILLE, Florida -- At approximately 2:39 p.m. today, the Titusville Police Department
received a 9-1-1 call where the caller reported hearing glass breaking, a woman screaming, and what sounded like “skin being hit” at the Bay Towers condominium complex located in the 2800 block of S. Washington
Avenue in Titusville, Florida.
According to police, once they arrived on scene, they saw 42-year-old Leon
Foster, Jr. of Indian River County, Florida straddling 44-year-old Mykeba Dynette Clark on the north side of the condo complex. An officer then pulled his Taser
and ordered Foster to get off the woman - but Foster did not respond and was
tased by the officer.
Foster then allegedly turned toward the officer while holding a knife and the
officer transitioned to his firearm at which time Foster dropped the knife
that he had allegedly used to stab Clark several times in the chest area. Foster
was then detained by other officers at the scene.
